31 Villagers Arrested For Vandalism
Police in Kasungu have arrested 31 villagers from Makanda village in the area of Chief Mwase in the district for alleged malicious damage and theft of property belonging to Mr. Msusa Zimba.
The villagers and the Zimba family have been tussling over a piece of land which the villagers claim is a village forest.
The land wrangle turned ugly on Tuesday when the villagers went on rampage demolishing twelve houses and other valuables in the process.
