MPS Effects Senior Ranks Promotion, Yolamu & Chigwenembe Now Deputy IGs
The Malawi police has effected promotions to senior ranks in the service that has seen Commissioners Marlyne Yolamu and Demister Chigwenembe moved to positions of deputy inspector general responsible for administration and operations respectively.
17 other officers have moved positions according to a police memo we have seen.
IG Dr. George Kainja had no deputies since his appointment by President Mutharika in July last year.
