IDH Donates Towards MJ Mountain Conservation

A Dutch trade company- IDH has pumped in 21 thousand euros equivalent to 19 million kwacha towards the conservation of Mulanje Mountain Forest Reserve.

IDH Country Representative Daisy Kambalame observes that serious deforestation in Mulanje Mountain Forest Reserve is impacting on lives of people including the tea farming in the district.

The company has partnered with Mulanje Mountain Conservation Trust (MMCT) in addressing deforestation in Mulanje Mountain Forest Reserve by among others planting various species of trees.
