WIDREM Backs Capacity Building & Mentorship Programs
A research organization, Women in Infectious Diseases and Health Research Network in Malawi, WIDREM says enhancing capacity building and mentorship programs is crucial in developing the career of female scientists in the country.
WIDREM leaders at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences, KUHES, Dr. Lucinder Manda Taylor, and Fatsani Ngwalangwa observe that there is a need to push for more female scientists, as statistics indicate that only 30 percent of scientists in Malawi are women.
