Stakeholders Demand Answers on Security Lapse During PSLCE Exams

Hot on the heels of reports of theft of Standard Eight examinations-related material in Rumphi, education experts are urging authorities to investigate what exactly happened.

The request by the education experts follows reports that soldiers assigned to ensure the security of the materials at Chikwawa Primary School in Rumphi had left their post when the theft occurred early morning yesterday, the first day of administration of the exams.

Malawi National Examinations Board spokesperson, Mayamiko Chiwaya, says the soldiers were not at their assigned post when this happened, a development that education expert, Benedicto Kondowe, says calls for urgent thorough investigations
