Statehouse Defends Chakwera’s Recent Local Trips

State House has defended the recent presidential trips across the country which some quarters have expressed worry that they could be super-spreaders of Covid 19 and costly.

Acting presidential Secretary, Anthony Kasunda speaking through the weekly briefs yesterday, said that the trips are helping the president to appreciate the challenges that Malawians are facing at the moment.

But social commentator Wonderful Mkutche says the president is doing the opposite of what he promised.
