Two girls aged 16 and 15 from the area of Traditional Authority Kalumo in Ntchisi have been rescued from what villagers believe was an abduction after they went missing for three days and were also allegedly defiled by two young men who took them custody.

A mother to one of the girls has told us that after the girls went missing, the villagers along with her started searching for them only to find the girls and the men engaging in sexual activities where the girls were being held.

Ntchisi police victim support department says it is investigating the matter and one of the men is in police custody.
