MACRA Calibrates Broadcasters’ Database

The Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) says it is realigning its’ database to ensure that all broadcasters are operating in line with their licenses.

MACRA board member, Stella Tchuthi, says some community radio broadcasters are not meeting the requirements of the licenses that they were given.

Tchuthi said this in Lilongwe as she opened a day-long workshop for community broadcasters on financial management and governance.
