Activists Speak Against Walk-In Interviews
Social and youth rights activists have spoken against the use of walk-in interviews to recruit people in various positions in the ministry of local government which started Tuesday.
Some of the individuals who took part in the interviews at Bwaila Centre in Lilongwe told Zodiak their rights are being violated as their forced to spend the whole day in the queue, and sometimes return home without attending the interviews.
Youth and Society Executive Director, Charles Kajoloweka is calling for an end to such recruit processes, saying they are tantamount to exploitation.
