28 Schools Damaged By Stormy Rains in Mangochi

The education sector has been hit hard in Mangochi where at least 28 schools have been damaged by stormy rains rendering classrooms not habitable hence forcing that learning be conducted in the open.

Mangochi District Commissioner, Dr. Raphael Piringu, says the situation has put them in a fix as even learning in the open is tricky as classes are perpetually suspended when it rains.

Dr. Piringu says the problem has affected 26 primary and two community day secondary schools.
