Reserve Bank rebuffs cryptocurrency unless..
Reserve Bank governor, Dalitso Kabambe, says the Central Bank is not ready to accept the use of crypto-currency as legal tender in the country until they appreciate how they work and what they mean.
The governor said this today in Mangochi on the sidelines of the 2019 Reserve Bank of Malawi monetary conference.
In his remarks, Finance and Economic Planning, Joseph Mwanamveka, said the country should first reflect on crypto-currency and how they can impact on the economy before making a decision on its use.
