2 Warders Arrested Over Chichiri Prison Break
Two prison warders from Blantyre prison have been arrested over a recent prison break at the correctional facility popularly known as Chichiri prison.
National prison spokesperson, Chimwemwe Shaba says the officers are Sergeant Wonderful Chiwaula and Sergeant Edward Chelafu who were on duty on the day of the prison escape.
Shaba said, two of the prisoners who escaped are still at large, while others were apprehended.
