Flames defender Mark Fodya ruled out of AFCON Qualifiers

Flames defender Mark Fodya has been ruled out of the two 2023 AFCON Qualifiers against Ethiopia and Guinea after sustaining a knee injury.

Coach Mario Marinica says he is not sure if the defender picked up the injury while in Flames camp or at his club Silver Strikers but he will not replace him.

Meanwhile, all foreign based players have arrived in Malawi as the last player to arrive being Striker Gabadinho Mhango.
