Malawi Airlines Posts a Four Billion Kwacha Profit

The country’s flag carrier, Malawi Airlines, has posted a four billion kwacha profit this year, the first time in seven years.

The Airline’s board chairperson George Partridge has told Zodiak that the process of restructuring and the Covid-19 pandemic contributed to the company making loses previously.

Meanwhile, economist Dr. Betchani Tchereni says the development shows that with proper management, it is possible for the airline business to thrive in the country.
