India Assists MW With Anti-Cancer Medicine

The Indian government has assisted Malawi with Anti-Cancer medicine worth 1.4 million United States Dollars approximately 1.4 Billion kwacha, as well as 200 laptops for members of parliament.

Visiting Minister of state for External Affairs for the Republic of India responsible for African Affairs Shri V. Muraleedharan announced this last evening in Lilongwe after holding a bilateral meeting with Malawi's Minister of Foreign Affairs Nancy Tembo.

The Indian Minister who is on a two-day visit to Malawi is also expected to meet President Lazarus Chakwera and his vice Saulos Chilima today.
