Spectators to Pay to Watch Beach Soccer AFCON Qualifier

The Football Association of Malawi says people will pay to watch the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Malawi and Tanzania.

The two face-off this Saturday at Sunbird Livingstonia Beach in Salima, in the first leg for the tournament whose finals will take place in Mozambique this October.

FAM Commercial and Marketing Director, Limbani Matola, says the venue being a tourism site, discussions are underway with owners of the facility on the prospects of attaching gate fees for the game to counter expenses in management of the game.

The return fixture will be played on seventh August in Dar es Salaam.
