MHRC To Release Findings of Lu Ke Case End September

The Malawi Human Rights Commission (MHRC), says findings of its investigations on Lu Ke, a Chinese national suspected to have produced and distributed demeaning videos involving Malawian children, will be released by end of September this year.

The commission’s Acting Director for Child Rights, Priscilla Thawe, said currently the investigations which are being done jointly with the office of Ombudsman, are at an advanced stage.

She made the remarks in Mchinji today soon after engaging chiefs and other stakeholders with a focus on protecting children from child abuse and exploitation.
