Mzimba Rains Damage Homes, Schools

An unspecified number of households have been rendered destitute in Mzimba West following heavy rains Sunday night.

The rains have also damaged five school blocks, teachers’ houses as well as churches in seven villages.

Authorities are now grappling with servicing the needs of those affected by the natural disaster.
