ACB to Investigate Corruption at Nkhata-Bay District Council

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) says it has observed several suspected corrupt practices at Nkhata-Bay district council which an Internal Integrity Committee which was formulated in 2018 at the council did not report for action.

Speaking at an engagement with district council authorities yesterday, ACB Director General, Martha Chizuma said there is a need for deliberate effort to fight corruption in the country with district councils being in the forefront.

In his response, Director of Administration for Nkhata-Bay, John-Bosco Baluti says their engagement with ACB is a wake-up call to curb the malpractice not only in Nkhata-Bay but I'm all districts across the country.
