Infantino Cancels Trip to Malawi

FIFA president, Gianni Infantino, will not visit Malawi in his visit to Africa, the Football Association of Malawi has confirmed.

In a statement issued on 27 November this is due to the ongoing rehabilitation works on the Chileka International Airport  main runway which makes it not possible for the Presidential Jet carrying the FIFA President and his entourage to land.

Infantino was expected to land today around 2pm through Chileka Airport.
