RAA Under-Collects on Target of 5 Billion from Chingeni & Kalinyeke Toll-Gates

Between November 2021 and January 2022 the Chingeni and Kalinyeke toll gates have collected a record 3.6 billion Kwacha, according to the Roads Fund Administration.

Spokesperson for the administration, Masauko Ngwaluko, says the target was to collect five billion Kwacha but removal of toll on foreign vehicles and reduction of toll fee has affected this.

Ngwaluko says RFA has also tightened security to ensure workers do not steal toll gate funds.
