Experts Hail Parley for Passing Electoral Law Amendment Bills

Governance groups have welcomed two electoral law reform bills passed by parliament yesterday describing them as a key step to shape the direction of the 2025 general elections.

Deputy Chairperson for the board of the Malawi Electoral Support Network (MESN), Boniface Chibwana told Zodiak the bills were long overdue.

In his reaction, Malawi Local Government Association Executive Director, Hadrod Mkandawire said the Bill brings certainty on the future of local government polls.
