NGO Plans Auditing Public Donor-Funded Projects
An accountability and transparency organization says it will embark on an exercise to follow how public funds were used in projects and programs funded by international bodies.
Executive Director of the organization, Centre for Social Accountability and Transparency, Willy Kambwandira, says the idea is to ensure that the funds were used appropriately.
Kambwandira said it is time government expedited amendment of public finance management law to curb plunder of public resources in the country's district councils.
