Three Family Members Injured in KU
Three family members have sustained serious injuries after a wall of their house fell on them at Chisiwiri Village in the area of Senior chief Lukwa in Kasungu on Friday morning.
Senior Chief Lukwa of the district says a total of 17 houses have collapsed in the village following a heavy downpour the area has been experiencing since Thursday night.
Kasungu District Disaster Relief and Management Officer Tionge Msowoya says officers are expected to visit the area for an assessment.
Senior Chief Lukwa has appealed for relief items in terms of food and shelter to support the people whose houses have collapsed.
