Balaka Month-Old-Baby Dies After Hospital 'Mismanagement'
In a latest case of alleged medical mismanagement, a month-old-baby has died at Balaka district hospital just days after medical council suspended nurses at Ntcheu hospital for patient mismanagement.
Father to the baby Doisi Makalani has told us his child died after bleeding profusely during an IV administration.
He has since reported the matter to the office of the ombudsman in the district.
Balaka district health office spokesperson, Mercy Nyirenda, says they are investigating the cause of death.
