Three Killed in Ntcheu Road Accident
Three people have been killed in a road accident in Ntcheu after the vehicle they were traveling in collided with another Tuesday.
One died on being rushed to Ntcheu District Hospital while the other two died in hospital.
Ntcheu police spokesperson, Hastings Chigalu told Zodiak Online the accident, which occurred at Njolomole Trade Centre, involved a Toyota Dyna MHG 4903 and an ERF Van NU 887.
Police believe the accident happened because the Toyota Dyna went side lane encroaching upon the lane for on-coming vehicle.
“Due to the impact, three passengers, all from the Toyota Dyna, sustained serious injuries,” Chigalu said observing that the three died shortly on being taken to the district hospital.
Police say all the passengers from the ERF Van escaped unhurt.
