Olive Kainga Breathes Sigh of Relief

Olive Kainga, a young girl who scored A grades and was selected to St. Michael’s Secondary School from Blantyre Girls Primary School but failed to proceed with her education, can now breathe a sigh of relief because Maranatha Academy has come to her rescue.

The Academy has offered Olive a scholarship for her secondary school education because her parents could not manage to pay for school fees.

Managing Director for the Academy, Dr. Ernest Kaonga, has also pledged to foot her tertiary education bills if she will be selected to the public university.

“As Maranatha Academy, we believe in promoting education in the country but we know we have got a number of people who cannot afford to pay school fees for their children. This is the reason we also assist many of them who cannot afford to pay school fees with scholarships,” said Dr. Kaonga.
