Man Arrested in Neno for Ritual Coffins, Accomplice Escapes

Police in Neno have arrested a 42-year-old man named as Christopher Manyika on allegations that he and a colleague were found with two coffins which they wanted to use for rituals.

Neno Police publicist Rebecca Msoliza says, yesterday, they acted on a tip and found the suspects carrying a coffin each and managed to arrest one while the other escaped.

Upon questioning them, she says Manyika claimed that the two were working under the instructions of a herbalist that the coffins would turn into vehicles.
