Chinese Aid for Cyclone Idai Recovery

China has provided Malawi about 750 million kwacha to aid families recovering from effects of the March 2019 floods.

The resources have been channeled through UNICEF.

Cyclone Idai affected about 975,000 people including 400 children in Malawi.
