All ConCourt Parties File Submissions
All parties to the on-going presidential election case have finally filed written submissions with the constitutional court.
The latest being the first and second respondents who have deposited their submissions yesterday as directed by the court.
Frank Meta, lawyer for President Peter Mutharika in the case and Tamando Chokhotho lawyer for MEC told us separately that their core argument is that Dr. Saulos Chilima and Dr. Lazarus Chakwera have no case justifying nullification of election results.
Meanwhile, parties are expected to make meet again in court for oral submissions on their arguments beginning December 19.
