Mzuni FC Drops Name

Two days after surviving relegation in the top flight TNM Super League, Mzuni Football Club have announced that, with immediate effect, dropped the name as they continue discussions with potential sponsors.
The club’s General Secretary, Donnex Chilonga, has told Zodiak that there is a possibility the team will secure new sponsorship before the start of the next season; hence the decision to drop the name. Mzuzu University withdrew sponsorship to the club early this year, although the team maintained its name in the interim surviving on donations.
