Perjury Probe: MEC Warehouse Official Questioned
Warehouse manager for the Malawi Electoral Commission, Diverson Makwete, was yesterday summoned to police headquarters at Area 30 in Lilongwe, for questioning.
Our inside sources, have confirmed that Makwete was invited to area 30 in relation to matters connected to the ongoing presidential election case.
The constitutional court hearing the presidential election case requested other entities to probe Makwete for possible perjury after he allegedly lied under oath.
