Likoma 2.4kw Diesel Genset Commisioned
A diesel run power generating plant has been commissioned on Likoma Island.
Officials say this has cost the taxpayer 1.5 billion Kwacha and will be expected to produce 2. 4 kilowatts of electricity.
Energy minister, Binton Kutsaira, hopes the power will boost economic activity on Likoma and Chizumulu Islands.
