The husband is said to have used a carpenter’s hammer to strike the wife dead. Police have since mounted a man-hunt. Dowa police spokesperson, Sub-Inspector Gladson M'bumpha, says the man on the run is Josam Kapusa from Chauma village and the deceased is Catherine Solomon, aged 35, from Lufeyo village both from T/A Chiwere’s area in Dowa.
