Election Case in Day 61st

The on-going presidential election case in Lilongwe, today enters day 61 when the constitutional court judges also expect to conclude hearing and retreat to make their judgment.

After oral submissions by the two Friends of the court, Dr. Chikosa Silungwe lawyer for Dr. Saulos Chilima and partly Modecai Msisha lawyer for Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, this morning, Msisha will finalize his submission before lawyers for MEC and those for President Mutharika take the floor.

On completion of the submissions and their responses, the court is expected to met-out judgment within 45 days.

Msisha is right now finalizing oral submissions on behalf of MCP president Dr. Chakwera.
