DoDMA Reacts to Lightning Deaths

The Department of Disaster and Management Affairs (DoDMA) says it is making some strides in the process of procuring lightning detecting machines to reduce deaths occurring due to lightning.

DoDMA, Deputy Director of Response and Recovery, Dyce Nkhoma Nkhoma was speaking Saturday at Tsangano in Ntcheu where the Department visited 12 families that were recently affected by lightning which struck Tsangano CCAP church building killing three people and injuring others.
