Teenage ‘Hubby’ Sent to Jail
A teenager boy who eloped with 13-year-old girl for a wife in Kasungu will go to jail until he is 30.
The Kasungu court handed, Maulana Mwamadi, an eleven-year-long jail term after his illegal marriage.
Mwamadi, aged 19, was found guilty of the abduction of a minor with whom he was cohabiting with neither the knowledge nor consent of her parents.
