SDA Head in Malawi February
Seventh Day Adventist Church world leader, Pastor Ted Wilson, is expected in the country a month from now on 7th February 2020 and the news has sparked excitement among SDA faithful.
Seventh Day Adventist President for Malawi, Pastor Frackson Kuyama, says all is set for the high profile visitor.
"All preparations to welcome the world leader is at an advanced stage. There will be a big Sabbath on 8 February, 2020 at Bingu National Stadium (in Lilongwe)," he said adding SDA members from across the country will attend the event.
Pastor Kuyama told Zodiak Online that soon on arrival through Kamuzu International Airport, Pastor Wilson will hold a press conference in the capital, Lilongwe.
"On 9 February 2020, Pastor Wilson will travel to the Southern region where he will visit Malamulo University, Malamulo Hospital and Blantyre Adventist hospital.
"Our church contributes a lot to the development of the country through services offered in our schools, universities and hospitals hence the visit by our world leaders to appreciate the work,” said Kuyama.
Pastor Wilson, he said, will also visit one local church in Malawi Sunnyside SDA Church in Blantyre to appreciate the work the church is doing to spread the Gospel.
Meanwhile, preparations to welcome Pastor Wilson are at an advanced stage and a special cloth has been printed for the event.
