Some temporary ground labourers at Chiradzulu District hospital have bemoaned poor working conditions they are being subjected to at the district's main hospital a development they claim is affecting their welfare.

Patients at Chiradzulu District Hospital were yesterday left unattended to from morning to later in the afternoon because health workers downed their tools.

There are prospects of reduced malaria attacks at Chiradzulu hospital following the spraying of terminator chemical by AHL Group which controls pests including mosquitoes, bed bugs and cockroaches.
