About 450 people from the areas of Group Village,  Headman Namulu, and Traditional Authority Kadewere in Chiradzulu are expected to venture into various small-scale businesses after being provided with the start-up capital.

Early Childhood Service delivery has been greatly compromised   in Chiradzulu due to among other challenges,  inadequate infrastructure a development which has worried education authorities  in the district .

Most people in Chiradzulu district use bushes and rivers as alternatives of toilets, says the district council chairperson, Bruno Mwase.

Two ward councilors who won on ticket of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) in Chiradzulu district have dumped the party and joined the Malawi Congress Party (MCP).
