The Ministry of Labour says it is waiting for Treasury to release funds allocated in 2022/2023 budget to resume construction of the five community technical colleges which stalled some two years ago.

A local organization that advocates for the rights of youth in Phalombe has expressed worry over the delay by government to roll out the construction work for the constituency community technical colleges in the country.

Authorities at Naminjiwa Community Technical College in Phalombe say lack of modern equipment is hampering the provision of technical skills to students.
