FMD Forces Thyolo District Council to Ban Cattle Movement
Thyolo District Council has issued movement restrictions of cattle from Nsanje and Chikwawa districts to avoid moving the Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) from the lower shire to the district.

Agriculture officials in Lower Shire have vaccinated about 15, 000 cattle to protect the animals from Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) which has hit the area.
