African Parks Majete Wildlife Reserve has handed over a K22 million worth school block with two classrooms at Futsa Community Day Secondary School in Mwanza.

Two female cheetahs have been trans-located to Majete Wildlife Reserve in Chikwawa increasing the number of the endangered species to six.

Majete Wildlife Reserve has introduced an outdoor adventure program targeting children and the youth with an aim of protecting the environment.

There is hope that some game rangers working in government run wildlife reserves in the country will have better working environment as Majete is raising 250,000 United States Dollars equivalent to 185 million Kwacha to purchase the equipment for the law enforcement teams.

African Parks has bemoaned effects of COVID-19 on its parks and reserves arguing that there is high possibility the sites will make losses this year.
