Teachers in the country say have gone the whole second academic term without getting personal protective equipment (PPE) from government for COVID19 prevention.

The Malawi Red Cross Society says it has more covid-19 Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) ready for deliveries to the health facilities in the country upon request.

Oxfam says the country’s rural public health facilities require direct support towards COVID-19 management amid a surge of local transmission which has not spared rural areas.

The Malawi Environmental Health Association (MEHA) has asked government to come up with a policy to guide the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the wake of corona virus.
