Floods Projection Stirs Panic in Nsanje

Traditional leaders in Nsanje’s most flood prone areas have vowed to push their subjects to move away from disaster prone areas ahead of imminent floods this rainy season as projected by weather experts.

Stakeholders in Chikwawa Warned on Floods

Authorities in Chikwawa have indicated that the warning from the Department of Climate Change and meteorological services of possible flooding in lower areas in 2020/2021 rainy season should push stakeholders to plan well to save people's lives and property.

MET Predicts Floods in Central Region

The Department of Climate Change and Meteorological Services says the next three days will see Malawi receive heavy rains which will likely cause floods in lakeshore areas and some parts of the central region.
