Malawi Electoral Commission chair, Dr. Jane Ansah, says her commission will now be left with no option but bar anyone found to be involved in acts that will jeopardize the holding of free, fair, credible and peaceful by-elections in Lilongwe South Constituency.

The Budget and Finance Committee of Parliament says it will focus much on how the government has fared in revenue collection in the first half of the financial year when the house reconvenes for the mid-year budget review session next month.
