Vendors Defy LL City Council Order to Vacate Illegal Market

Vendors plying their trade opposite Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) offices in Lilongwe insist they will not obey the order by the Lilongwe City Council for them to vacate the place.

Vendors Clash Over Trade in Lilongwe

Tsoka market vendors in Lilongwe Old Town have gone on a rampage in the streets in protest that city authorities are doing nothing about growing street vending in the city which, they argue, is negatively affecting sales for those plying their trade in designated markets.
