Police in Ntcheu have today arrested a 36 year old woman, for allegedly scalding her 16 year old son.

 

Ntcheu Police Deputy Publicists, Rebecca Kwisongole has told Zodiak Online that the woman Salome Magola, has since been charged with acts intending to cause grievious harm contrary to section 235 (a) of penal code.

 

"The incident occurred Saturday at Kachimanga village,Traditional Authority (TA) Kwataine in the district. Magola was allegedly found money with the money which the father of the house was complaining," said Kwisongole.

 

She said the development angered the suspect who immediately poured hot water on the victim.

 

The victim was treated as an outpatient at Ntcheu District Hospital where he was rushed to by relatives.

 

Magola will appear in court soon, this according to Police.
