Khuda Signs Four-Year-Long Contract With Polokwane City
2019 TNM Super League top scorer Khuda Muyaba has secured a move to South African top flight outfit Polokwane City Football Club after impressing the authorities during his short stint with the club.
Muyaba initially went for a 10 day trials at Polokwane but it has taken just 3 days for the lethal striker to convince the SA club to sign him.
Confirming the development, Silver Strikers general secretary Innocent Kadammanja told Zodiak online that Muyaba has signed a four year contract at an undisclosed fee.
“Indeed Khuda has been handed a four year contract at Polokwane which is a good thing for him and us (Silver Strikers) of course.
“We have to wish him all the best, he has gone to a very good side and I just hope he will work hard like he was doing at Silver and prove his abilities at a top side like Polokwane,” Said Kadammanja.
In addition Kadammanja said Silver Strikers will recruit a striker to fill the void left by Khuda.
“Surely he (khuda) was very important to us and it’s obvious we have to look for his replacement.
“At the moment we will leave that to the technical panel which have the mandate to identify and recruit players.” Kadammanja said.
A number of players have been linked with a move to the central bankers, among them, Foster Biton of Blue eagles and Civil Sporting’s Raphael Phiri.
Khuda Mayaba will be playing alongside Flames defender Denis Chembezi who earlier this month signed a two and half years contract with Polokwane city who are 15th on the Absa Premier Soccer League standings.
