Eagles Warn Silver Over Delay to Sign Bitoni

Blue Eagles football club have warned Silver strikers to play their tricks right if they are to lure Foster Bitoni from the area 30 side during this transfer window.

Silver Strikers recently offloaded 18 of its players and look set to re-enforce the team by signing a number of players and already some big names in the country’s football set-up have been linked with a move to the central bankers.

Blue Eagles forward Bitoni has emerged as the number one priority for the newly appointed technical panel led by Zambian tactician Dan Kabwe to replace the departed Mphatso Philemon, Green Harawa and Sheriff Shamama among others.

Alexander Ngwala Blue Eagles chairman told Zodiak Online that silver strikers have indeed approached them and enquire on the availability of the striker this transfer window but nothing concrete has been agreed.

Ngwala however disclosed that Nyasa Big Bullets and Mighty Be Forward Wanderers have also made contact over the possible transfer of Foster Bitoni.

“We received a letter from Silver Strikers asking about our player (Bitoni) but nothing has been agreed at the moment.

“If they (Silver Strikers) are to sign him (Bitoni) they have to be very fast with it because other teams have also shown interest in the player.

“Much as we would want our neighbors to get the player but we will only consider the best offer from any team for his signature,” said Ngwala.

The central bankers are also reportedly chasing the signature of Civil Sporting forward Raphael Phiri and our sources have told us they have already contacted the servants over his availability during this transfer window.
